Vero Beach Hotel & Club Vero Beach, Florida
A Holiday Inn heavily damaged by Hurricanes Frances and Jeanne has been transformed into the new Vero Beach Hotel & Club, a world class condo/hotel and resort. With open vistas to the Atlantic Ocean and private garden spots, the new resort is an excellent example of a successful urban infill project, combining classical architectural and tropical elements of a West Indies theme. Of special note is the care taken to make the project sustainable, through collaboration with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to help shape the final landscape and lighting designs.

HCG is a finalist in an international design competition for the master planning of Phase III of this incredibly unique and massive 6,000 acre project. Sahl Hasheesh has established itself as a major resort destination on the Red Sea. Phase III will include many new resorts, new towns, golf communities, an equestrian village, conference center and workforce housing plus many other unique amenities and experiences. HCG and our submittal team of architects, engineers and golf course designers propose amenitizing Phase III with magnificent lakes, lagoons, waterfalls, an aquarium, amusement park and rainforest garden.

Sultan Beach Hotel (with EDSA) Hurghada, Egypt
This 4 star beachfront resort is located directly on the Red Sea and 10 minutes from the Hurghada International Airport. The resort offers 328 rooms including villas, suites and studios with spectacular views of the beach, sea and the on site amenities. Recreational amenities include the main pool with a swim to bar and children's pool, a kid's club, the aquatics center, and tennis, volleyball, basketball and soccer courts.

Cayo Largo Resort & Villas (with EDSA) Fajardo, Puerto Rico
The Cayo Largo Resort & Villas is a 23-acre beachside resort on the east coast of the island of Puerto Rico in Fajardo, south of the El Conquistador Hotel. The program called for a 200-room courtyard hotel and another 250-rooms designed as villas. Adjacent to the main building is a conference center accessed from the central arrival court. The spa building is located to the south of the main hotel. An 18-hole Trent Jones golf course is situated along the main road. The site had significant historical context as being one of the locations where in early days the Caribbean pirates used this cove as a hiding place from the British navy.

Club Med Port St. Lucie, FL
This unique site on the edge of the St. Lucie River was the ideal location for a 300 room hotel with a 15,000 sf conference center and an adjoining 10,000 sf Spa. All rooms enjoy the river while a boardwalk connects the hotel with a 3,000 sf restaurant. Amenities include a 2,000 sf pool, an internal courtyard and a public boardwalk along the river.

Golden Grove at Lake Springwell Black Point, Great Guana Cay, Exuma, Bahamas
HCG was contracted to develop the Master Plan for Golden Grove at Lake Springwell, a mixed use resort community on Great Guana Cay, Exuma, Bahamas. The master plan calls for the expansion of Black Point International Airport to include doubling the size of the airport runway, as well as the addition of an international terminal and hangar facilities. Golden Grove Lakeside Village Shoppes and Black Point Community Park front Lake Springwell. The planned resort, commercial center and recreational amenities provide a sustainable future for residents of the local Black Point community.

Punta Mangle EcoResort (with EDSA) Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic
This unique master plan formed the framework for a proposal to develop a sustainable ecoresort on 1.5 million square meters of land situated in Punta Mangle, Monte Cristi Province, Dominican Republic. The ecoresort is designed to ensure minimum negative impact on the natural environment, to act as a catalyst for social development and regional conservation, and to maintain the existing sense of place in harmony with the environment. Phased to take into account ideas and requests from guests and also new trends that will develop in the next decades, the Overall Master Plan establishes Punta Mangle as a model for reef and mangrove research, and education into the process of sustainable development. Hiking trails extend within the Punta Mangle region with meditation areas that are designed to offer beautiful views of nature. The proposal offers solutions for telecommunications and power generation infrastructure, waste management strategies, water production, stormwater collection and treatment , beach renourishment and coral reef preservation.
